Kimberly (Kim) A. Markiewicz, a Baltimore native, began her real estate career in 1997 with the first purchase of real estate as an investment for her retirement portfolio. Wanting to share her enthusiasm and knowledge for real estate that she has gained thru additional investment purchases over the years, Kim decided to start a second career (Kim’s first career is a domestic equities trader for large institutional pension/endowment funds for 20+ years) and became a licensed realtor in 2006 and joined RE/MAX American Dream in July, 2007.

Kim is a member of the Greater Baltimore Board of Realtors (GBBR), Maryland Association of Realtors (MAR) and the National Association of Realtors (NAR). Kim’s many charitable organizations include the Defenders of Wildlife and the Maryland SPCA.

Kim is married to Charles (Jeff) Kratz, who is also a licensed realtor. You can find Kim, Jeff and their daughter Anya spending their free time traveling or outdoors either fishing, boating, scuba diving or just playing at the beach with their adopted lovable Alaskan Malamute Kamots.
